Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the combat sports. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in each fight. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as a professional were marred. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen became a professional in 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first fight as a bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock down McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. As for her final fight for this promotion, Ladd fought Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina by pounding and grounding her before prevailing by TKO during the second round. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the opening round. She also received an extra bonus for her performance that evening. She fought her first big fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd won the night's main event fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in a fierce fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her streak. Following a brief break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
